As a native New Yorker born and raised in Brooklyn, and the Founder & Principal Consultant of Your Admissions Portfolio, I bring an elite level of expertise directly to your kitchen table. With over 15 years in the field—including a decade-long tenure as the Director of Admissions at a premier NYC independent school—I offer a perspective few can claim.
Having chaired the committees that make the final calls, I understand the high-pressure world of private school enrollment from the inside out. But my insight isn’t just professional; it is personal. As a parent of both an independent school alumnus and a current student, I have navigated this journey myself. I know the anticipation of the notification dates and the weight of the decision-making process because I have lived it. By combining the clinical eye of a former gatekeeper with the lived experience of an NYC parent, I help you move past the stress and toward a winning portfolio strategy that finds the best fit for your child and your family.
My career has spanned the rigors of corporate auditing at EY (Ernst & Young), along with the strategic media planning expertise I gained at Marsteller Advertising, and the creative demands of founding the Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival. This rare toolkit allowed me to navigate the complexities of admissions with both operational excellence and a founder’s spirit.
